• ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER should be changed at regular intervals every 3 months or 3,000 miles depending on your driving habits.  Ask your consultant about a free 300,000 mile 10 year limited Lubrication Warranty

• BRAKE SERVICE front and rear every 15,000 miles to help maximize the life of your brakes

• ROTATE TIRES every 6,000 miles to promote proper and even wear.

• TIRE AIR PRESSURE should be checked monthly and maintained according to the recommended PSI stamped on the sidewall of each tire.  Spare tire should be checked twice a year.

• FRONT END ALIGNMENT is also critical to proper tire wear and longer tire life.  There is no specific mileage recommendation to have this service performed.  Check out tires for abnormal inner or outer tread wear when checking tire pressures monthly.

• POWER STEERING SERVICE - This is the most neglected fluid in your car, yet it breaks down just like oil and transmission fluid.  Fluid level should be checked at every oil change and changed at 30,000 mile intervals.

• THE COOLING SYSTEM should be crained and coolant installed once the quality of the coolant begins to deteriorate.  Have your service adviser test the quality on your next visit.  Warning signs are leaks, high gauge readings or poor AC & heater performance.

• AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - Most should be serviced at 50,000 mile intervals unless you tow a trailer or subject your vehicle to severe driving conditions.  Check the owner's manual for your specific needs.

• FRONT & REAR DIFFERENTIALS should be checked with each oil change and changed at 12 to 15 thousand mile intervals depending on vehicle usage.  GM recommends increased servicing of limited slip differentials.

• FUEL FILTER should be checked and/or changed every 15 to 20 thousand miles.

In order to alleviate any misunderstanding about bringing your vehicle in for service, please call for an appointment (801) 544-0404.  Advise your service assistant of work requested and whether your will require alternate transportation.  Rental vehicles are available at reasonable rates and the rental company will shuttle you to and from our service center back to their facility.  You must have a major credit card, a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age unless stated otherwise by the rental agency.
